On Saturday, March 1, 2025, For A Smile’s Sake conducted a book donation drive at Mukumu Children’s Home under the Yada (Knowledge) Initiative.
The project was driven by the belief that empowerment is rooted in knowledge. The objective was to expand the children’s horizons, strengthen their faith, and encourage personal development by providing access to a diverse range of books.
The donation included Christian literature, self-help books, and other inspirational materials, aiming to equip the children with both spiritual and intellectual tools to help them grow into confident, empowered individuals.
Personnel Input
The For A Smile’s Sake team organized and delivered the book donation to Mukumu Children’s Home.
Upon arrival, the team engaged with the children and the management team, introducing the Yada Initiative and the purpose behind the book drive.
The team then divided the children into groups according to age where we discussed various topics of life in a mentorship bid
Gratitude was extended to all donors who contributed books and financial support toward the success of the project.
