Activity Summary

On Tuesday, April 1, 2025, For A Smile’s Sake partnered with Maseno Girl Child Empowerment for a transformative Sanitary Pad Drive at Maseno Mixed Primary School. The event went beyond distributing sanitary pads; it aimed to empower young minds by providing education on menstrual health and breaking down societal stigmas.
Girls participated in an insightful session focused on understanding menstrual cycles, hygiene practices, and boosting confidence. Simultaneously, boys engaged in vital discussions about puberty, personal growth, and how to be allies in supporting the girl child through developmental changes.
This initiative reaffirmed For A Smile’s Sake’s commitment to girl-child empowerment and promoting holistic education for all.
