By registering as a volunteer with For A Smile’s Sake, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Volunteer Status

   I understand that I am offering my services voluntarily, without expectation of compensation, employment, or future engagement. This relationship does not constitute a contract of employment.

2. Duties and Conduct

   I agree to:

   • Perform my volunteer duties to the best of my ability.

   • Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by the organization.

   • Treat beneficiaries, staff, and fellow volunteers with respect and dignity.

   • Not act in a manner that could damage the reputation of the organization.

3. Confidentiality

   I agree to maintain the confidentiality of all information I receive or become aware of during my volunteer work. I will not disclose any personal, private, or sensitive information to unauthorized parties.

4. Child Protection & Vulnerable Persons

   I commit to upholding the highest standards of conduct in line with child safeguarding policies. I will report any form of abuse or inappropriate behavior immediately.

5. Media Release

   I give permission for For A Smile’s Sake to use my image, voice, or written statements in photos, videos, or other media for promotional, educational, or fundraising purposes.

6. Health and Safety

   I agree to follow all health and safety rules and guidelines. I will report any injuries, unsafe conditions, or hazards to the appropriate supervisor immediately.

7. Personal Risk

   I acknowledge that volunteering may involve certain risks and agree to assume full responsibility for any personal injury or loss incurred while volunteering.

8. Termination

   I understand that my volunteer involvement may be ended at any time by either myself or For A Smile’s Sake, with or without notice or reason.

9. Compliance with Laws and Policies

   I agree to comply with the laws of Kenya and all policies and procedures of For A Smile’s Sake as communicated to me.

10. Without Prejudice Clause

    These terms and conditions are issued without prejudice and do not create a contract of employment or any legal obligation beyond the scope of volunteer engagement. For A Smile’s Sake reserves the right to amend, update, or withdraw these terms at any time without prior notice. Participation as a volunteer is entirely at the discretion of the organization.
